My question has always been: is that thing he's holding in the top left just an ordinary flashlight - or is it an early unintentional sighting of the Sonic Screwdriver...being used as a flashlight? Compare, eg, the War Games.

If I recall correctly, isn't that the button that makes everyone go crazy until you try to stab your companions with scissors?
