On a more serious note, I actually think Pegg could pull it off - he can do silly, and emotional, and angry, all very well. So yeah; why not? :)

Nick Frost as companion? Sure, but I'll tell you what'd be even better - Nick Frost as the next MASTER!

(Then again, that might mean the series was devolving into incurable silliness, and that would never do. ;) )

Nick Frost = Master? Wow, that's so crazy it might actually WORK!

I actually do think Pegg could be the Doctor - see the scene in 'Hot Fuzz' where he discovers the truth about the 'accidents', he's just so much like Ten that I can't believe it.

Pegg: "How can this be for the greater good?"
