Re: Visible anachronism: Someone should go to a con wearing a hode-podge of the Doctor's various outfits. 4's scarf, 5's cricket blazer, 6's pants, 10's trainers...

Re: Chinese: Is that last character "11"? I've seen Chinese numbers, and that looks like it might be an eleven... See, the Japanese use the same characters for numbers, so I've seen them on un-translated manga, plus I have a game with Chinese numbers on it.

Oh, haha, guess I should have put in a translation... The last two form the chinese word "boshi" (tones=fail) which means doctor in the PhD sense, which his how the Doctor is called in the Chinese version. I can see where it looks like 十 and 一 on top of each other...

I tried to qualify that with a "sortof"... It's old enough now that a lot of younger sci-fi fans haven't seen it... Or maybe even heard of it (enough to make me feel old, that's for sure).
