Oh yes. The fact that the entire male cast were wearing pink longjohns just adds to the enjoyment.

They had to do the outdoor filming in winter. For the few days' location filming, the weather went fog-snow-sun. There's a line put in about "freak weather conditions" in episode 1 to explain why the weather is totally out of sequence in the outdoor scenes. The blokes all wore pink longjohns because of the weather - much to their indignation. This is the sort of thing you find out in the production subtitles and suchlike DVD extras.
