Journal 005: The Drama Rancor Strikes

Jan 08, 2009 15:20

You know, with all this tension and flexing, it's enough to make me wonder: what is the point of all this insanity?

Jaina, meet me on the roof. We'll go through your forms once more.

[[I am sorry, I shall set up a log if you still wish, Jaina-mun.]]

*reaction: infighting, [au] padmé amidala, [ou] jaina solo, *memory: jedi council, [ou] ahsoka tano, [ou] the joker

The point of insanity is that there is no point. |

That is one part, yes.

You think there's another? Enlighten. |

I think it's for the sheer fun of it. That's as much a reason as any.

The point is the bigger picture - one that most are failing to realize.

What is the bigger picture? Can I know? Or am I too great a risk as Darth Revan?

As someone who was once a part of the Republic and trained by a Jedi Master aligned with the opposing side of the Force, I shouldn't trust you; but frankly, the opinions of those who understand how a grand picture like that of the galaxy we originate are far too valuable to exclude, Lord Revan. We are in the same situation - Light versus Dark has no merit here and it's futile to fuel those flames in a place like this, wouldn't you agree? You have my trust.

The bigger picture is the state of the compound and the Entropi lingering outside. I feel as if I'm the only one realizing that if we are not standing together, we will fall far easier if those Entropi decide they want to venture over the walls.

Still making the same mistake as your master, though. Still viewing it as a matter of Sides, Light or Dark.

I see. I really have to question trying to unite people with a group that we know little more about than certain members.

I don't think they even know their own point anymore.

That is a very interesting perspective, Padawan. However, I think your master would hardly be pleased with the tone you're taking.

I'm sure they have some idea of what they're doing.

Master Skywalker would have taken this tone before I had the chance.

I don't doubt that, but it seems like they're going...into a tangent.

Interesting man, your master.

Oh, yes. Every group does at one point. My Sith's tangent happened when Malak tried to take over for the sake of taking over.
