He knew that they were more alike than should ever be possible - he knew they thought the same, had the same priorities, and they both loved to destroy each other for the sake of their brother's protection.

Nick held Alan's hand, steadfast even as he flinched, his lip curling in distaste - he knew what it was like, he had been there, but it was his turn now to make sure Alan kept up these stupid normal human niceties, even if his brother was taller and wiser and far kinder than Nick had ever been.
3. Crack!fic Plot
Alan bit his lip, his arms still crossed over his chest, and tried to explain to Mae that it had been a bet, or maybe a joke, but Mae was laughing and already fishing around in her underwear drawer for a spare bra; she knew why Nick had done it, of course - simply because he could.

Jamie was the only member of the Obsidian Circle who wasn't watching - his eyes were screwed up tight, in fact, and his lips were pressed together in a thin, terrified line; Hnikarr couldn't stop staring.
3. Crack!fic Plot
Nick picked up the tiny white kitten that Jamie seemed to have accidentally turned himself into, remarking, "I think I like you better this way," in his usual dry amusement.

Percy hated coming home sometimes, stripping down and seeing his own perfect skin up against Nico's - battered, bruised, taking all the hits that Percy's invulnerability had shunted off.

When Percy arrived at Camp Half-Blood for the first time, everyone was talking about the Prophecy, the Prophecy, and the boy that everyone expected to fulfill it - his name was Nico, and Percy hated how unhappy he looked.

"I swear to you," Percy said with not a small amount of terrified embarrassment - understandable, given his state of undress, "this was not my idea - I got attacked by some of the Aphrodite girls!"

Nico kept pounding the button in his communicator, even knowing full well it didn't work like that - "Science Officer, come in right the fuck now or I'm breaking up with you over the ship's intercom and Annabeth will never let you live it down!"

And the one about Ethan knowing where Luke's vulnerable spot is is fantastic, you get so many gold stars for that one.
&YOU; SO SO SO SO MUCH. Ethan/Luke is kind of my head!canon pairing, as well, but I never really see it anywhere, either.
