Election Minutiae

Shanghai is 13 hours ahead of Eastern Standard. The election parties I was missing in New York occurred at the same time as our Chinese Economy class 9 AM - 12 PM November 5th. Although I didn't not like either candidate, I am actually very upset about the fact that even such an important event as presidential elections is now turned into a show of policitical correctness, where initially we had to have one woman candidate, one black candidate, one other religion candidate (Mormon) and "a bunch of white guys" just to keep it balanced. What really amazes me that Obama, being half-white and never even mentioning it throughout his campaign, received 95% of black population's votes. If this is not a weird form of racism then what is?!
