I am updating to say I saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier at one of those fan screenings this week and it was amazing. (The theater wasn't but that's because they overbooked and somehow me getting there 5 hours early worked out in the end, eeesh.) I totally didn't realise the film was out yet, so thanks for reminding me. I'll have to pop off to see it next week.

As an aside I just read one of your old C/A fics (I'm on a nostalgic kick). I never read it at the time since I tend not to read friends work and didn't actually realise it was yours until the end (the just fic page was messed up on my mobile and wouldn't show me the author). It was great, but utterly depressing in the end. I think Cordy had about a year to live or such (though maybe that's a different Fic, I can't recall). Enjoyed it though. :)

Haha, thanks! I don't remember that kind of ending? ...maybe it was a S4 one. lol I forgot so much of what I wrote back then that whenever I stumble on it (I saw links once or twice on Tumblr) that it's weird. Glad you liked it though!

IT WAS SO GOOD.

The theater was awful - we were at Lincoln Square - but once the movie started, I didn't care.

RIGHT?! oh man. I'm just blown away still.

Ha, I went to the Lincoln Square one too! I got there at 2:30. Still barely got a seat when I got in, WTF. That place was a fucking mess. We ended up sitting on the left side. Ugh. But yeah once the more started it was great and I forgot about the surroundings. I'm gonna see the Cap marathon on April 3 and that will hopefully be a much better experience!
