But yes, it's awesome to finally see Hulk not being chased off and SAVING PEOPLE and not being completely emo or whatever. SO MUCH DETAIL. ughhh I want to read all the fic. *_*
Oh my god - The Hulk was like my least favourite character of all time BUT MARK MADE ME LOVE HIIIIIIM! I was all meh about Bruce/Tony but now I think I need to read all the things with them riding off into the sunset together!
YAY! I'm glad! I have to admit, I got into the Hulk with the first movie and started to read the comics/all of the stuff but then that interest waned, because... well, the movie isn't good, and the second one was okay. But this! He was PERFECT. aahh! <3

count me in as someone who was never, ever worried about Mark Ruffalo -- I know and love him of old. I keep seeing all these reaction posts where people are like, "wow, I never expected to feel empathy for Bruce Banner, how'd this HAPPEN?" and imo a huge part of that (in addition to the writing, obvs) is that Mark is such a warm, open, honest actor. he basically stole the show, and I LOVE THAT.
(also love that Lou Ferrigno did the speaking voice of Hulk. there's my childhood showing, right there.)
Yes! I'm so happy to see that -- the fact that Joss wanted him from the start (and RDJ was pulling for him) was just icing on the cake. Because him + that writing + his whole friggin' being, man = perfect combo. Hell, half of the love I have is just seeing him genuinely looking happy to be there in the mix with all this craziness.
!!! Yessss! I love how it's the rule for him to always do the voice (even in the Norton movie). Though I'm kinda a little glad I was partially spoiled for that seeing as I couldn't hear over the excitement of the theater audience! Heh.
