Does anyone have some good Steampunk clothing website recs? Or specific places on Etsy, for instance (as I think that's what people would first think of). I need them for Wincon reasons. Or maybe just birthday "I'd like to sashay around in tulle" reasons. ...No, not really. That would be terrifying and I am not five, nope ( Read more... )

I've spotted a few sellers that have some awesome steampunk jewelry and accessories, but not clothes. As it happens though, Etsy has a fantastic search feature. There's great results on the first page. http://www.etsy.com/search/handmade/clothing?search_submit=&q=steampunk&view_type=gallery&ship_to=US

Thanks! I've been searching Etsy for days, heh. Just trying to see if there's any particular recs but that's very helpful!

I can't say I've ever bought anything from these shops because well, steampunk stuff is 'spensive, but I do enjoy oohing and aahing at their things, and maybe these'll give you a place to start, at least!

Oooh, thanks! Yeah, I agree it's usually expensive. I think I wouldn't mind getting a corset or skirt though as a little splurge. They look so gorgeous. I'd rather spend on that and have it in my closet than the crappy bridesmaid dresses I've spent money on! ;)

I LOVE Clockwork Couture, they always have a really good range of goods, and I think she's brought in a load of new products in the last couple of weeks. Also, Donna who runs the shoppe is an absolute doll :)
