I had one of those unresponsive and silent theaters. :( I loved poor Jay Baruchel being the only one who read the script, read the novel, and went to the boot camp.
RDJ totally stole the movie with his EPIC AWESOMENESS (although I have to second the sometimes-hard-to-understand thing. Oh well, guess I'll have to go see it again then. ;)

Aww! That sucks. :\ Having an enthusiastic crowd makes it more fun!
I forgot he went to boot camp too! That shows dedication. Or plain common sense? ;)
He did indeed. My mom watched it and kept having to ask me what he said sometimes, but it was hard seeing as I kept laughing at whatever he said. Oh, RDJ, how do you contain so much win?

I was so glad I went to see it again- I could actually understand RDJ this time! The Comic-Con crowd was soo much more responsive, but at least some of the people on Friday night were energetic so I didn't feel like a complete dork laughing my butt off.
And Tom Cruise! Do you have any idea how hard it's been these past few weeks to not tell everybody how amazing he was in this movie?!?! (My descriptions includes the phrase: "their secret guest star is the best secret guest star in the history of guest stars!") I have no respect for my brother and his girlfriend, though- it took them almost the whole film to realize who he was, and even then I think one of his friends leaned over to tell them.
I feel like they cut a few bits- I may have to go see it again to check :D
