I. Reason #1 why I need to catch up and marathon this season of Torchwood: A Torchwood/Doctor Who mpreg crack vid, Papa Don't Preach by fan_eunice and greensilver. Spoilers for the current season. I may have spoiled myself, but it was definitely worth it. (thanks to rusty_halo for the link!)

I watched the first episode of this season! Actually, I have seen the first season, I just need to marathon the ones I'm missing.

I think that might be Ianto's fault. He's very Ianto-y. Also, attractive. Your icon is gorgeous. :D

Dude, Stef, remember the days when we were all Buffy people and it was a Buffy world and look there's Spike James Marsters on Torchwood! I'm feeling all nostalgic now...

I actually think the first episode was my favourite of the season despite the lack of boy kissing, but in general, it was so so much better than last season.

Also, Gareth's pretty face is the force that personally powers my livejournal. :) Ianto is everyone's favourite tv boyfriend! He gets so incredibly kickass this season, I cannot even describe.

The third (?)-season ep "Grotesque" is genuinely scary. I remember clutching my college roommate throughout it.

I remember watching random repeats of it on the weekends and being really freaked out. Even with the not so scary episodes. I watched "Squeeze" the other day (the third episode) and just that one got me a little scared. But I want to try and watch it! It's so good!

I'll definitely be checking out that link once I get caught up on Torchwood.

I was the same with The X-Files! My dad used to watch it and I would leave the room all pissed off at the scary show I couldn't handle. Then again I watched a season while I was at University and still thought a lot of it was way scary, so...

Love both Mulder and Scully. XD But I swear, I've been doing an X-Files rewatch in preparing for the second movie, and I want to smack her upside the head sometimes in the earlier episodes. I, too, had forgotten how scary they were! o_O I was a huge Mulder/Scully shipper back in the 90s but I think I only watched up to season 6. It was all about the X-Files and The Beatles then for me. Nothing's really changed. ;D

Sturgess was really good in The Other Boleyn Girl. The definite Paul look alike will always be Gary Bakewell [Backbeat, Linda McCartney Story] for me... but Sturgess can certainly pull it off as well. :) I've always wanted to see Johnny Depp as John in a biopic. Or Daniel Radcliffe. XD
