I love The Nightmare on Elm Street series. I wish my school had a horror films class. :( We have sci-fi film this term but I didn't take it because it's 4 hours on Thursday nights.

I've only seen the first Nightmare film because I needed to see Johnny get swallowed up by a bed. Mwah ha ha!

That's evil! They've had a horror class for a few years at my college but I didn't get around to taking it until this semester as a lot of my friends recommended it. Sucks about the sci-fi class timeslot -- especially when there are other things to be watched on Thursday nights. ;) (I didn't take one film class because it was also on that night. Dude, I need my SPN fix!)

I love how young Johnny is in that movie. Especially in his cut-off top. Oh, the 80's. I lol'ed when he made a cameo in another NOES movie, I'm pretty sure it was 5 (the one with Breckin Meyer and Roseanne). He randomly shows up on a TV screen talking about drugs.

Yeah, me and Thursday night class do not mix. I have more important things to do. *G*

Dean would TOTALLY love that class. And he'd write all these elaborate, thoughtful papers and then he'd make Sam proofread them. :)

Hee! YES! Though, as I was influenced talking to regala_electra earlier, Dean + horror films class = Professor Winchester, man. With Sam proofreading still, but added bonus of sex amongst the stacks of books.

...it totally works. In my head. IT IS A GLORIOUS, WORKY THING IN MY HEAD. :D

STEF! I'm scared just reading that list of movies, holy crap. Though I do love me some Alien.

Psst -- me too. BUT! I figure I should brush up on my horror movie history because of Dean. And those are just the 'tame'/known ones. Lot of gory/slasher flicks too.

I finally saw Alien a couple of weeks ago. Oh Ridley Scott. You are awesome and scaaary.

It does! Normally I wouldn't really think much about it but... Bonus people that are cool! AND James Marsters is in it. Which you probably don't care about but I must mention it because it's that random.

WHERE? Er, dya know how many times I've seen ALIEN? Dang, he must've been young (ha, weren't we ALL...*never mind*).

BTW, I'm reading through your absolutely marvelous multipartate tutorial on iconage, and I love it even better than a crackfic with ALL my kinks. It's gonna finally teach me how to make the things.

THANK YOU for the gift that'll keep on giving.

I took a class like this once - it was discussing the basics of film using horror movies as examples. Truly awesome. I wrote one of my best collegiate essays during the first semester, titled simply "Why The Exorcist Should Have Ended After The First Eleven Minutes".

I got an A. *hee*
