Hi. Looks like a rough week. Tomorrow is Friday! TGIF! Then WEEKEND! Positive thoughts! (Yeah, I'm annoying myself, too. But. WEEKEND!)

So today I stumbled upon some old Beatle-y news that made my heart go ping. But first! ( This is Dhani Harrison. George's son. Hi, Dhani. HI. )

Dhani's George-ness is a thing to be treasured and at the same time, causes poking for him to go and try to put out more music! Boy is very talented! :)

Yes! And he can sing and he's funny! Just like his dad! There's a good amount of footage of him in a DVD called Concert For George -- tribute concert for George after his death, and Dhani's fantastic in it. He's so great. :D

Woah! I'm going all bug-eyed over the realization that the babies of the guys I loved way back when are now all grown up and gorgeous. ::boggles:: ::admires:: And Julian and Sean reconciling? That's such lovely news. I'm so glad for them, because family is...family.

Aww, you're welcome! :) Hee, aren't they lovely? Have you seen Concert For George? Dhani's in it a lot. His voice isn't exactly like George's singing-wise (and that's good; Julian sounds a LOT like John so it's a little weird) but pretty soon he's coming out with a new CD. I can't wait!

And the fact that Julian and Sean reconciled makes me SO happy. :D

Aww! I didn't know anything about Sean's and Julian's conflict, but I'm glad they've made up anyways.

And Dhani!!!!!! I get chills when I see pictures of him, especially the one with a picture of George next to it. It's like a mirror image! I'm also excited that he's finally getting some more music out there, even if it isn't a solo album. I loved the song he did with Jakob Dylan.

Me either! But it's nice to see they've reconciled; I always wasn't sure how their relationship was. Glad to see things have changed.

I agree re: Dhani! Listening to snippets of him singing in the Concert For George DVD wasn't enough! I hope he gets more notice for the upcoming stuff. CD FINALLY. YAY! \o/

I support this idea. Wholeheartedly. Man. One day I ought to post more Beatle-y related articles because uh, yeah, they're one of my old fandoms but some of the stuff that went on was so Winchester-y. I love it. :D

It's actually not a Beatles-specific idea; the trick is to collect a whole lot of things that celebrities have said about their brothers and write fics around those quotes. Y/Y?
