Although personally I think he wasn't scarred enough but then again, regenerative powers, why does he have a scar in the first place?

I was actually discussing this with a friend of mine, and he suggested that it was a psychosomatic thing. Peter felt so guilty about being the bomb that he couldn't heal one of the scars so he could always be reminded or something like that. I forget exactly what my friend says, but psychosomatic illness is why Peter has the scar. That's our theory anyway.

That would make sense. It's an important event in his life and to just wipe it away and forget wouldn't be fair. At least, now I'm thinking about other characters and their scars which have a significant meaning to them. Cool thought. :)

But dude, he lost the emo hair! So not on. Though at least when it was getting chopped by Sylar it got a dramtic slow-mo floor dropping shot. I miss it though.

Yes, was wondering the same thing this morning. I don't think they thought the whole 'meeting claire' thing through clearly when saying he had a scare in the premiere.

I must admit, I've only skimmed the ep so far, however will watch it by next week, for there is bound to be some decent Peter/Claire interaction. (It makes me weep that they're related now).

I liked that they followed through with the scar though from the early reference but after knowing he has regenerative powers it's kind of like "...but why?" Eh.

Ah, fandom, it makes me not care that they're related. I blame Petrellicest. And Wincest. And Blackcest. And um...probably a lot of others if I think about it. Oy. ;)

Yeah, I think the HP fandom ruined us on that part. After being in that, you couldn't survive with it being 'ewww' to a massive degree. LOL

Totally didn't watch the ep last night, so shall now have to wait until Sunday. Eh, at least it'll be less time to wait for the new ep.

What are you doing to me? Ah!!! I am refraining from going to the comic store until Saturday (Free Comic Day in case you haven't heard me yell enough). I want Supernatural: Origins but I thought it was all about John Winchester not the boys.

As for Peter's scar... it's just to make look tougher because everyone criticizes the crap outta the character for being a whiny pretty boy. Personally, I think he keeps getting hotter and hotter!

Doomsday! I might cry when I watch that. I cried when Cap died. I'm such a girl!

Oh shit, thanks for reminding me! I'm gonna be in the city on Saturday, looks like I'll try sneaking in and getting a free comic. And I think I can use up my discount at the store too. YAY. There's actually two stories in the first issue with one dealing with John, the other with the boys which makes me happy as I also thought it was just John. ('cause as much as I love wee!winchesters, Sam being a baby and not actually able to do anything isn't that fun). But John's pretty awesome as it is.

I am so out of the loop with Cap dying. I think it's 'cause I'm still all shook up about Superboy dying so any other deaths make me go "Uh, but...SUPERBOY. OMG WTF DC, YOU WHORES." 'Cause that's the sane response, obviously.
