a burning question and the most delayed reaction in the history of ever.

So, the real question is... who the heck other than Sirius Black can I fangirl and dress up as for six hours during the release of Book 7?

I just watched "Casino Night" for the first time. AGHHAHH MY HEART CAN'T TAKE IT. ( Further love for The Office )

harry potter, tv: the office, movies, tv

It's like CRACK. It is. I left some of the later S2 eps playing while I was getting ready for classes today and ended up stopping what I was doing and coming to school an hour later than I intended just so I could sit and watch the eps instead. Later classes + "I hate so much about the things that you choose to be." = MADE OF WIN.

Haha yeah we were all going CRAZY. I think I watched the last 5 minutes of that episode like 400 times over the summer. It was torturous!!

Exactly. Not really one of Joss's big fans, noooo. Nope. Though, I just read a passing comment about the new script being set in WWII which is a) kind of interesting, going back to Golden Age, etc. but b) omgwtf what about the continuity for a Brandon/Christian/WW threesome Trinity film?!

...because, you know, my mind is twisted and greedy like that.

Hmmm...dress up as Luna. :D

And I know. I KNOW. I have never ever in my life gone from zero to ridiculously, over-the-top obsessed as fast as I did with The Office (and especially Jim/Pam, and especially Jim). He is so adorable that it makes my brain cave in. I've been working my way through all the episodes on PeekVid, and it's amaaaaazing! [/kelly] So much love.

Oooh Luna! That'd be neat. It'd be a good excuse to go blond (because I've secretly wanted to for fun, but have never had the motivation to buy a blond wig or dye my hair ever since I bought a ridiculous, horrible $10 Barbie wig to be Ursula from George of the Jungle (movie version) for Halloween.

I have weird choices for Halloween costumes, I know. ;)

Re: The Office, I think the fact that it's 22 min. episodes contributes to the crack addiction. Or at least it does for me. So easy to just sit and watch them all in one go. No filler, just fun (and jello. And Jim. AS WELL AS THE AWESOME JIM/PAM YAYE.)

I love Joss, and I love Wonder Woman, but I have to admit I was torn because I don't think they're a good fit.

Because as much a I love Joss, he has a very specific voice - sort of a quippy voice - and WW has always been sort of... I don't want to say down to earth because she's really quite the opposite - she's as pure fantasy as they come. But kind of, I guess, serious/majestic/mythic?

That's it, right there. I agree. Joss can do the mythic thing sometimes (at least, in certain Slayer things) but overall, I'd see him doing other superheroes than WW herself. He's writing Astonishing X-Men and Runaways now, which is a better fit, but WW wise... no. Diana has a sense of humor, but I can't see her making quips all the time. And with WW's convoluted history as it is, and the difficulty of condensing it into something that the public will get is a hard task as it is. That's another thing altogether; everyone knows the origin stories of Batman and Superman but not so much Wonder Woman, so they must not fuck it up and make it light. If it's handled the right, serious, mythic way that it should be, then there's franchise and hopefully the box office won't be just because of her outfit.

I have WW movie issues. I worry so. Mehhhh.
