Because I'm getting over my unfinished fic/fic languishing on hard drive thing -- or at least, seeking imaginary therapy for this culprit -- and posting. This is from July. Cue the forehead smacking. It's also for lafemmedarla, who originally gave the prompt. Wanted to post this ficlet already, that way I can work on ze other ones. No beta. Mistakes are mine. ( Read more... )

Hee. Thanks! I knooow, I know -- I've got to figure out where these stories are going though. Beginning and middle, when it comes to figuring out the.. point, or ending, then it goes downhill. I tend to do that a lot. Methinks I'll try asking for a beta on w_f later.

This was wonderful! I loved it! There was something about their interaction that seemed so...real to me. Maybe it was the little hints of the status of their relationship, without explicitly spelling it out. For instance, I really liked this line:

He cranes his neck just so, ignores an urge to glower when Bruce angles away.

Anyway, this was great. I hope to see more of your work soon.

Thank you! It's odd; most of the time I don't necessarily like to go into the process of the relationship building/beginning. I just jump in and show it for what I think it is. I'd like to think it just comes naturally to them (or at least, in my head it does. Heh.) :)

Took me a long time to read, but enjoyed it very much. Like others, I loved the idea of Bruce learning Kryptonese and having an accent in it. And there's just something about it that "both unnerves and amuses" Supes that is too cool^__^

Thanks! The idea of Kryptonese has always fascinated me come to think of it -- we've never actually heard it being spoken in media, so there's a big gap for imaginary stuff to run rampant, including accents and Kryptonians getting turned on (well, it was turned on, but I put amused instead. Ah, the little innocence that I sometimes retain. ;) )

Read this again as I was working on archiving your fic. Loved it just as much the second time. :))
