Why I quit MoveOn.org

I unsubscribed from MoveOn's email list today. For whatever reason, this last email was the one that broke the camel's back. I didn't even scan it for content. When I saw the message from "Nita Chaudhary" it offended me - as an interactive marketer.

When crap like this happens, I'm convinced that it's one or two people who decided "Hey, why can't we do a smear campaign too? Those other guys are always doing it."

This is my favorite, so far, reaction to the entire mess. It's not the ad itself that bothers me so much, although it's certainly in poor taste, it's the feigned outrage by the right that make the entire debacle so... filthy.

You held out longer than I did. I gave up on MoveOn four or five years ago because the onslaught of e-mails was driving me nuts.

And did you hear news - price for XRumer 5.0 Palladium will grow up to $540 after 15 may 2009... And XRumer 2.9 and 3.0 - too old versions, it's cant break modern catpchas and cant break modern anti-bot protections. But XRumer 5.0 Palladium CAN!!!!
