You know, I've had about enough of the social convention that we have to preface criticism of lunatics with "both parties are bad" or "I don't like either party that much". Screw that. I like what Igg's done here: identify the source of the crazy and speak the name aloud. Then let's see if a pattern emerges.
As a Christian, I think Republicans/Conservatives have done more to misrepresent Christianity than just about anyone out there. I can't stand Republicans. I can't stand the way they tout their "morals" and yet don't give a crap about the poor and forgotten of society. They don't LOVE, they just JUDGE. I can't stand that they've totally screwed the Pro-Life stance, either. They aren't pro-life! They're just anti-abortion. BIIIIIG difference. They abhor killing innocent babies, and yet have no problem taking the lives of others through the death penalty and money-driven wars. Conservative/Republican "Christians" make Christianity look like it's full of crazy cuckoos.
That being said, I can't stand Democrats, either. Both parties are full of crap, just on different sides of the aisle. But I have no hope of the two-party system ever changing until people stop voting for them.
