Apparently there's a resurgence of 80's "style" going on. Some broken mind somewhere decided it'd be fun to make the 80s happen again. I was out earning boyfriend-points with Emily on sunday while she was clothes shopping, and some of the stuff that was on the racks there was pretty dreadful. I'm not so up-and-up on the price of girl's pants. and my pride (lol, good one right?) keeps me from looking it up on Filene's website (I think that's the store we were in).

I am heralding an initiative to revive '90s garb.

Bike shorts, Umbro shorts, scrunchy socks, oversized overalls with the straps crossed, plaid overshirts with the sleeves cut off, hi-tops, high-waisted mom jeans, DEP hair products, Keds, blouses with shoulder pads, and Oliver Peoples eyeglasses like Christian Bale wore in American Psycho.

Wow. I thought for sure that the 80s would be the ONE decade that no one would ever again touch in regards to fashion. Let's just pray to God that MC Hammer/muscle pants don't make a comeback.

They weren't. I was disappointed at first, but then I saw that they had thermal color-change hoodies in a rack right behind me. my faith was restored.
