I, um, kinda liked it that Sam seemed younger than he was supposed to be and Dean seemed older. I KNOW, I KNOW. It's kind of creepy, but I have such a THING for Dean being protective of Sam and that's so much easier when Sam fits in his pocket. But then Sam never stops growing, ever, and in fact has not stopped growing yet, so pretty soon the reverse will be true.

And Brock Kelly's Dean!voice was a thing of beauty. He was trying really hard. *smish*

the actors weren't the right ages, little Sam is actually about 12 instead of 14, and little Dean is about 20 instead of 18, maybe a little older. I think they just went with it because of their likenesses and they were both pretty good at acting like their counterparts. And we can just imagine Sammy was a late bloomer :)
