Summary: “Dude. Do all the hot, young girls hang out here?”
She was short, she was blond, and she was staring at Dean like he was some kind of alien.
Dean's brow rose as he stood on the other side of the threshold, and he stared back. “Can I help you?”
“Bobby wasn't joking, was he?”
“Ah.” He nodded and relaxed a bit. “Take it I'm supposed to know you?”
“I was only by your side in your little 'let's rescue Sam and nearly kill Lex' scheme,” she huffed. “He really didn't tell you about me?”
“Figured you'd be here to do that yourself before long,” Bobby cut in, stepping up behind Dean. “You never let me down, Chloe.”
The girl grinned and held her hand out to Dean. “Sullivan,” she added on. “Chloe Sullivan.”
Dean seldom heard the admiration that he had heard in the old man's tone, and he knew right away that Chloe was on their side. He nodded and shook her hand. “Nice to meet you. Again. I guess.”
She tilted her head and just stared at him. “You look a lot better.”
“Than what?”
Her face grew more serious. “Than you did at the hospital.”
“Oh...you were there?”
“Of course I was there, Dean,” she said softly. “You almost died.”
He watched her back for a moment, his arms crossing over his chest. “Just how long've you known us?”
“Feels like most of my life,” she sighed. “I mean...you-” Bobby shook his head and gave Chloe a look. She closed her mouth. “Nevermind. So. What's the plan on shaking him out of this?” She kept her gaze on Bobby as she walked through the door and brushed Dean aside.
“Ain't much of one,” Bobby shrugged. He started for the den with Chloe at his heel, and neither turned back to Dean as they continued to talk.
Dean raised a hand in a half wave. “Don't worry, I've got the door,” he said to their retreating backs.

Dean leaned in the doorway of the den and watched Bobby and Chloe. They were in the midst of discussing something about someone named Lana, and Dean just tried to keep up. Apparently this Lana was someone Bobby cared about as well. Dean sighed.
“Dude. Do all the hot, young girls hang out here?”
Chloe rolled her eyes a bit, used to Dean's comments, and looked up at him. “Bobby gave Lana a place to live in highschool. When two certain unnamed boys we all know never came to town.”
“Chloe,” Bobby said gently.
She just shook her head. “Nevermind. Yeah, a lot of us know Bobby. He's...kind of an institution around Smallville.”
“Hard to believe,” Dean smirked. It really wasn't hard to believe at all actually. Bobby being more social was though. “Anyone else I should know?”
Chloe's lips set in a line and she tilted her head. “That reminds me...” She got up and crossed the room, then stopped before him. She gave him a moment to wonder what the hell she wanted, before bringing her hand across his cheek sharply. The pain bounced through his skull and he grabbed his cheek as he groaned.
“What the hell was that for?!”
“My cousin.”
