Neil was in his room, leaning against the window and staring out across the cool November night. He'd left the door open because he was afraid that if Andrew had to knock he might not find the courage to answer. Neil watched Andrew's movements and flailed like a girl inwardly.
"I ah," he began awkwardly and winced, rubbing the back of his neck. "No, I mean, that's okay you can have my bed, I'll use the other one."
That sort of made sense in Neil's head in sort of that weird flaily teenage guy way.

Yeah, that sounded pretty anemic even to him and Neil looked down at his hands.
"I gave you my wool blanket?" He offered lamely, except it was his beloved wool blanket and he sort of thought Andrew liked cuddling under it ... or at least, had liked cuddling under it.
