And despite a brief trip to work to confirm that we should not open in this weather (I fought the snow drift that ate my car AND WON), I am now in my apartment. Again. And bored despite A MILLION THINGS I COULD DO WITH THIS TIME. Again ( Read more... )

Oooooh! I feel kinda bad taking advantage of this, but... I will do it anyway?

Dean/Castiel or Kirk/McCoy would be awesome, whichever you prefer.

And yay, ifreet writing!!

Ah ha ha, something from the Burlesque soundtrack? Ok, Kirk/McCoy for SURE. I was so ridiculously tempted to write xeno. Something's got a hold on Kirk. Possibly something with tentacles. XD

Something's Got a Hold on Me - Christina Aguilera

Jim was sprawled across Leonard's bed like he owned it, possibly because Jim Kirk was incapable of taking up anything less than all the space. Or possibly because mind-blowing orgasms actually rendered him as innervated as the next human.

"I have never felt like this before," Jim informed the ceiling.

Len snorted. "Now that is a damn lie."

Jim grinned and levered himself up on his elbows. "Not what I meant. Though, yeah, that was good." Len raised an eyebrow, and Jim immediately backpedaled. "Great! That was great."

"You're really selling it there."

Jim rolled his eyes. "Shut up. I mean the rest of it."

"Yeah, Jim, I know." He had felt like this before, but he'd missed the feeling, even knowing how easily it could end in heartbreak.

Aw, I love it!! You have such a great touch for writing these two. I kinda want to quote all of it, which defeats the purpose of quoting some of it, but I love how totally dry Leonard is and how both of them know what to take seriously and what not to.

"I have never felt like this before," Jim informed the ceiling.

Len snorted. "Now that is a damn lie."

Hee! And this is one of the many reasons Jim needs Leonard. <3

You were within an hour of my post! Not too late at all.

Soon or Never - The Punch Brothers

Neal had his hands tucked into his pockets, watching traffic over Mozzie's shoulder. His shoulders were back, and his posture straight but relaxed. He would only look uncomfortable to someone who knew him well. Which, of course, Mozzie did.

To Moz's credit, he didn't say anything. Well, honestly, he was saying lots of things, but nothing of particular substance and nothing about Neal standing like a lump on the sidewalk outside June's building.

Inhale. He made himself meet Moz's eyes, and Moz fell silent.

Yes, they were like family. But sometimes, it needed saying.

"Thank you."

Mozzie waved it off. "For nothing."

"Seriously, I -"

"Seriously," Mozzie interrupted in a voice that defied argument. "It's nothing."

Apparently, though, this wasn't one of those times. He smiled, and shrugged at Mozzie's eye-rolling-without-eye-rolling expression, and turned for the steps. Neal felt Moz's eyes on him until he disappeared into the building.
