It's the Mob!Vecchio story, wherein Vecchio never became a cop, but he befriends Fraser anyway. Where 'befriends' means 'eventually smooches.' I mentioned it at BP, but at this point I have no idea to whom! I'm basically retelling the pilot, and I've got most of the adjustments to case-related stuff sorted, but I've realized I handwaved a lot of the changes in character development because it's obvious to me -- but then, the story's been in my head awhile. It might not be obvious to readers who aren't also mindreaders.
The fun part is probably true. I should look at the (long!) list of fandoms and see if I remember rejecting any bunnies for them -- and direct them towards an unsuspecting participant.
I like much of it! I wish I still thought I am nearly finished, though.
