Yep, he looks a lot like Sanzo, doesn't he? They really look like father and son! I just love how Minekura draws him in Reload! In the first Gensoumaden volumes poor Koumyou looks too old!!

Those are great!

Koumyou is very simmilar to Sanzo so I often mistake them when looking at icons for the first time but here we can clearly see the difference - that's great!

XD! They're very similar, but Koumyou goofy expressions are so unique that is easy to tell them apart!

Nice job on these. You even have some where his eyes are open, which is rare in his case.

I love the ones when his eyes are open, 'cos it's usually when he's being sharp (well, except #02 ... :P ). And I reckon I was a bit off-cannon doing his eyes blue (aren't they grey?), but blue goes better with his blond hair!

I think the general consensus in fandom is that his eyes are grey - I don't know that it's ever been confirmed in canon. It's tough to get a good look! LOL

Mm.. I guess that comes from the burial OVA, 'cos I think there aren't any Koumyou color image from Minekura where his eyes are open. (not that there's a lot of them, eyes closed or not, damn! I want more official pics!! Especially if he's half naked and with his hair down. RAWR
