[A very annoyed, possibly familiar, redhead with headphones appears on the screen]

Someone mind telling me where the hell I am?

[Trying, really trying not to sound rude but failing. He's aggravated, confused and a bit angry all at the same time. The sense of deja vu was definitely not helping any of this]

[Sup partner? Shiki impulsively calls him back, but she doesn't say anything at first. Too much has happened to her since he disappeared. She's not entirely too sure how to feel about him coming back.]

Neku?

[She looks exhausted for the most part. Pallid skin and there are bags under her eyes.]

[Action]

[gimme_ur_pants]

Coming!

[Shiki stands from the sofa, shifting her hold on Kotone so that the cat was holding on to her shoulder again. She frees one arm so that she can open the door. She tilts her head seeing not only Neku but Beat as well.]

Hi. Come in.

[She steps aside so that the pair could get in th apartment. Kotone lets out a meow, making Shiki shift her hold again so that Neku could see his old cat.]

Could you at least remember her?

[gangstaspeak]

Hope ya don't mind me crashin', yo.

[Beat just waved in acknowledgment to Shiki and heads in,tossing his jacket aside. Taking a seat on the sofa, he waits for Neku to answer Shiki before saying anything else.]

[Neku steps in, reveling in this warmth. He barely enjoys it for more than a few seconds before Shiki asked him something. Turning back around he was met with a cat and before he can even think his mouth just begins speaking on it's own-]

Kotone? What are you doing-

[He manages to cut himself off before he said anymore.

Kotone. The name echos in his head and more flashes go through his mind. This time at a slower pace. Someone offering him a cat, taking her, naming her, sharing her with someone else he lived with... but he can't remember who that was. What the hell?!

Trying really hard not to display his frustration but he fails a bit]

Can someone please tell me what's going on??

[To Beat.] Mm... It's okay, Beat.

[When Shiki heard Neku call Kotone by her name, her eyes widened in surprise. This is the first she's seen anyone recover their memories of this world. Riku certainly didn't remember nor the people she met who have been told that they were here before. Kotone lets out another meow, making the girl put the feline gently on the ground so that cat could go back to her original master.]

C'mon. [She grabs his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.] Grab Kotone and sit down with us. We'll explain everything.

[gangstaspeak]

[Beat leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees as soon as he hears Neku call out his pet's name. That was definitely the first time he's seen something like that too. It was always either they remembered everything or nothing at all. There was never a gray area where they could remember some bits and pieces.]

Hold up, yo. You remember her name? [He gestures over to the cat.] An' you don't remember nothing 'bout this place?

[Being let down, Kotone went over to Neku who stared hesitantly at the cat for a moment before picking her up with one hand. This was all so confusing and frustrating! Shiki's hand was a tad reassuring but it still did nothing to cease the chaos in his head that seemed to be increasing the more he thought of it. He heads to the couch nearby and sits down for a second before Beat speaks up.]

I don't know.

[He really didn't. Those visions he'd been having, knowing how to get here, how he knew Kotone right off the bat. Well, hopefully his friends can shed some light on this situation before he blows a fuse.]

[Shiki follows suit, sitting beside Neku. She takes him hand again into hers, giving it another squeeze.]

Take it easy, okay? Deep breaths.

[The comfort is nice but does little more then add awkward to the list of emotions going through him.]

... Right.

[Going to take a moment to clear some of the chaos in his head for at least the moment, just to get through the rough part]

[Looking back up at both Beat and Shiki now, Kotone curled happily in his lap.]

Anyway, it might be best just to start explaining from the beginning.

[gangstaspeak]

[Looks like they'll have to go with the usual drill with the newcomers then.]

You is in Somarium now, Phones. And we're all stuck here. Ain't no way out.

[And again, he just knows this is true. Not only that but other things about this place also start to "return" to him. People leaving all the time randomly and coming back the same way. And the... Dreamberry, the weird looking phone with some annoying function]

... By choice you mean, and I just randomly came back.

[gangstaspeak]

[Yeah... that's what he meant.]

Yeah, 'cept that. It's not like ya can tell when someone's jus' gonna pop back here.

But I ain't ever heard someone remember jus' some things 'bout this place. You the first, yo.
