That's what I keep telling my mom, but she still wants me to rake up the leaves. D:

Because the leaves eventually disinegrate, and they kill the grass, and then in spring you have nothing but dirt. XD

Actually, they'd probably fertilize the grass, but only after they've spent the winter months rotting in your yard.

People prefer green grass over red, yellow, and orange leaves on the lawn. I dunno.
