Okay, so the first half made me flail and go "OHMYGOD BERNARD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! ♥", and then the second half made me wibble like it was going out of style.
Never let it be said that Bernard doesn't notice what is flaunted right before his very nose.
I'm so glad you liked it! I was hoping you would (since you said you were a comic fan). Did you see the link I posted to the torrent download site with the gazillion comics? That's how I've been catching up.
If you haven't met Bernard Dowd, you should check out the Beginner's Guide, with a scan of every page he's appeared in - for a grand and disappointing total of 18 pages. (Though I think they missed him in War Games, standing by Darla's bedside and watching Tim leave, just prior to the fourth segment in this story). He's got so much potential, too, because he's potentially related to the first Supervillain Young Justice fought as a group, Nina Dowd (fanon has cast her as his mom), The Mighty Endowed, whose super power is exactly what it sounds like it would be. Nina's appearance is in the guide, too.
I want him to come back again. I want him to meet Steph, and I want him to meet Ives (who is back! Yes!), and! Fabian Nicieza is writing Robin now! He likes fabulous characters! He will surely bring him and his comments on Timmy's
( ... )
Yes I did see the link. Unfortunately I'm on a limited bandwidth and keep getting through it before the month's end. Also you need software to read them? I'm one of those weird types who likes stuff hardcopy *hangs head*
There's a Tim/Bernard comm? Oooh I'll have to check that out.
It's a really tiny program. Just a file reader. I wouldn't mind having hard copies, too, but back issues can be hard to find. If my burner were working, I could put them on dvd for you and send them off for xmas. >.< Unfortunately, the drive isn't working. Maybe in the future.

Your icon is the win, by the way. Bernard is so flamingly fabulous.

That was one of my favorite bits to write. ^_^ I loved, in the comics, how Kon just refused to deal, to accept Tim vanishing.

I haven't got as far as Bernard in the comics, but I really like what I'm reading here.
More please?
Hmm, I need a Robin icon or something....
