This was absolutely lovely, thank you so much! Sam working with Lisa was an unexpected bonus, and I really think that hanging around with the Doctor would be something that could reconnect Sam with wanting stuff and enjoying himself from time to time.

I hope you do go on with this -- your season preview is very enticing. Especially including the pleasant going out to dinner bit.

Also, I still have a fic for someone half-finished from that, so you are less late than I am!

I've had a blast planning this verse out, and nothing could change that, but still, I am so glad that you liked it! And thank you for the prompt -- as I've rambled to a few friends by now, post-Swan Song is pretty much the perfect place for Sam+Eleven, and they're a lot of fun to write together.

I've got the rest of the series planned out -- arc words, episode premises, obligatory Who episodes -- and again, I've had a lot of fun with it. So it'll get written, the only question is if I'll be able to write it in a timely manner. (Here's hoping!)

And the going out to a pleasant dinner bits were mostly just me hashing out Sam and Eleven's voices and interaction, but if you'd like, I'm sure I could write up a polished version.

Lisa was awesome, Sam perfect, Johnny a trip, and the Doctor was... indescribable -- in a very delightful way.

I'm all scrambled up inside. Sam going away with the Doector? ^_^ Without Dean? @_@ I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or melt into a pool of swoony goo. You've definitely got me hooked.

There were many wonderful moments, but this was my favorite:
"My TARDIS," the Doctor says, fondly.

Sam continues to look at it for a minute, then says, "I'm guessing it's bigger on the inside?"

The Doctor beams at him.

btw,
I've never seen a single episode of Who, and only three of four Torchwoods. I think SPN fans will find this a beguling introduction to the Doctor.
