New Boss sat me down for a talk about a reorg that would put me in an Associate Director position (with the $17K raise) this week, so this is...actually happening?!?! Like, how is my life in a place where I am being considered for this type of rule at this type of pay?!?!?
I hope things are going well for you. I think you got a new job? (LJ only lets me go back so far so I'm extrapolating.) And I hope Maze and the Kidlet (who is in college now, if my math is right?) are doing amazingly well!

I did get a new gig, which was scary as fuck too. I quit the safety of a huge company with a guaranteed paycheck and retirement to do what I've always wanted to do- Pediatric Home Health Speech/Language Therapy. I love it. I love it so much I can hardly believe it some days. But yeah, it's uncertain, it doesn't have benefits, and it's scary. It's worth it.
Kidlet is in his last semester of his sophomore year at college bc I am old as dirt. Maze is doing pretty well! Pain is managed enough with MMJ and other meds to get some cool stuff done around our new house- SLOWLY but surely. So that's cool.
