So, it's that Eagle Awards time of year again, with any comic book published in 2008 being eligible for nomination. Now, 2008 was quite a while ago now so I thought it might be usueful for me to...heh....remind you of certain comics that were published during 2008...

Such as Contraband...the Eleventh Hour Collector's Edition...Eleventh Hour Vol 1...

John Freeman at Down The Tubes has consistently supported not only Orang Utan Comics in general, but more specifically Alpha Gods. I really commend any website that gets behind the UK comics industry as much as Down the Tubes does, rather than just constantly regurgitating the PR of the big US publishers.

I've consistently voted for Penny Arcade in previous Eagle Awards but was introduced to Shortpacked last year, I've read through the entire strip and it just keeps getting better.

Oh...and I really want to see Iron Man beat Dark Knight...

I like PA, but not nearly as concsistently as SP. Seriously, SP has me in stitches all the time.

I wasn't a big fan of TDK, so yeah, I'd love to see IM kick some ass here.
