Here are some more icons. Most of them were entered at various icontests. A few won awards.

Thanks. It was mostly textures and a Selective Color layer. I've never done it before, but I could write up a tutorial for it, if you like. I think I might be able to make a similar effect without a Selective Color layer.

Yeah, I like to give my icons all the exposure I can. I'm kinda surprised to find someone else who likes Austen and Zelda. They're not exactly "compatible" fandoms. =P

Well, not if you look at the two separately like that. But if you look at them in terms of geekdom... I'm a bookworm and a video game nerd... so it works kind of.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I haven't met that many bookworms that are also video game nerds, though.
