Is it very odd, to miss two homes? Not that I'd call Series Ten my home any longer, since I can't go back. But I miss little things. Spiced lamb, the inner part of the Temple, how the clothes felt...

...Oh, dear. This wasn't...something I'd intended for everyone to see.

The Calormenes?

Yes. The people from Calormen, it's in the south, in the desert.

Then your Narnia must be rather like Europe, to my mind.

[Sigh. Millie is trying to ward this post with magic, but nothing will hold.]

One of my old cats. He's more Christopher's now, as they're very taken with each other. He's got a beastly personality and he's a right brute, but he can be alright.

They do both have a way of lording over others! But on the whole Throgmorten can be a great deal nastier.

You must be fond of this summer weather, then.

...I can't stand it, myself, but it was the climate you grew up in, after all.

I'm surprised that you were able to move from your home world to another world permanently.

I didn't have much choice. My life was to be sacrificed to the Goddess Ashe, and you understand I've only got the one! I don't care about enriching her power or tradition or anything of that sort. The tradition can go hang. They don't really follow it anyway.

It's not bad, I suppose.

It sounds like summer anywhere else must be like heaven to you then, if it's warmth you're really fond of. Generally I like a healthy mixture of both.

Truly I don't mind the cold. Winter can be wonderfully lovely, with snow and carols and Christmas trees. But yes, I do love summertime.

You won't be able to go back?

I could, I suppose, but it's probably not the best idea.

Just to visit, I mean. To see the city without all the attention.

It's not as simple as that, unfortunately. Besides, I'm an Englishwoman now. There's a great deal of 12-A to see, you know.
