Oh, excellent job! I was really worried when Harry got caught in the shield and Jim and Blair were on their own. Way to increase tension! Because it really seemed they were outgunned. Then Harry not being able to stop Fenris at first, until the three of them combined energy was clever and perfect and as a TS fan I loved that you kept their agency in this even though Harry's much more powerful.
Thank you for sticking with me until the end! So glad you enjoyed it.
It's been a hard balancing act, trying to keep Jim and Blair in the story without making Harry look stupid or either Jim or Blair look unrealistically powerful so it's a huge relief that you think I managed it :D
Oh, I definitely enjoyed! I can see how it would be hard balancing the two canons but I think you did great here because there was a definite subtext that Blair and Jim as sentinel and guide had support from the spiritual realm that Harry didn't because he was using his own power, mighty though that might be. So all in all, their territory and Harry's special expertise equaled out nicely.
Just came across this fic and I am very impressed. I enjoyed the way you incorporated Blair as a Shaman into a case that would involve Harry Dresden. This was realistic to me because much of what Blair did was instinctive and Harry was able to point this out to him. Jim being Jim didn't hurt much either.
I also like the fact that you use the Dresden character that is portrayed in the books as opposed to the television show. I might have connected with that character more if I hadn't read the books first, but as it were he was never as strong as the one given in the books.
Anyway, a great read and I am happy that you posted this. hugs.
Thank you very much, I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. Blair as Shaman was something that was never explored properly in the show and I wanted to correct that so I'm very happy that it's gone over so well. :)

I had fun writing this, so although I've no intention at the moment of writing more, I may well come back to it later.
