A little help?

I remember watching a TV show back in the early 90's, on around the same time Highlander aired in the UK on Sky. It was a vampire show, and I was sure it was set in the UK and the lead was quite attractive and rode a motorbike. I thought it was Forever Knight, but I only ever watched a couple of episodes back then and I'm now watching Forever ( Read more... )

Around the same time period was a show called She-Wolf of London. The only thing it doesn't match with your remembrance, however, is the vampire part. Since the female lead was a werewolf. I'll start looking through shows at Wikipedia, see if I can narrow it down for you.

If you can't find out, you might want to also try asking the people at whatwasthatone.

ETA: Could it have been Dracula: The Series?

I think you may be on to something there, it's ringing bells. It's quite possible (read likely!) that I'm muddling She-Wolf (and isn't that one of the worst titles for a show ever?!) and Forever Knight in my memory. Hmm. This deserves investigation, thanks for the help. :)

*toddles off to find clips*

She-Wolf of London was also renamed to Love and Curses (and the quality went downhill) for season 2. Same people for the lead actors, different setting, horrible plots. So if you try to find clips on Youtube (they are scarce) try that name, too.

Does Ultraviolet ring any bells? It had Idris Elba in it and was running in 1998/1999. Def a Brit show.

I know the show, but that's too late, this was definitely somewhere between 93 and 95, that's when we had Sky the first time. It was on either before or after Highlander, that's how I found it. I think it might be this She-wolf show because it rings a bell. I probably just wanted a vamp in it! Or I'm muddling two shows together.

Was the lead dark haired? In the later seasons of Forever Knight, another vampire named 'Javier Vachon' shows up, and he had a bike he rode around on.

Only saw the first two or three eps of Forever Knight originally so no, but thanks for the suggestion (and I'm really looking forward to watching that now!)

Hmmm I asked E-keeper-of-tv-trivia, and he thinks that it could have been a show called "Dark Shadows"

Now I'm all curious about the motorbike riding vampire ^_^

Sorry to disappoint you but I don't think he was a vamp after all. I think it might be She-Wolf of London like calliopes_pen suggested, which means the guy was just an ordinary human. I have to do some investigating to make certain though.

I think Dark Shadows was a US show, and I'm certain this one I'm thinking of was a UK show. I think I confused She-Wolf and Forever Knight together (because the guy that played Nick Knight is Welsh and the show I remember is in the UK *shrugs*)

But thank you for your help! :)

Not sure if u had this on Sky - but Kindred: The Embraced had a blonde haired vampire on a motorcycle as one of the mains, and it was on around the same time - I think.

Was it UK set? Because that's the one thing I'm certain of about this show that it was British (or at least set here).
