Starting to slightly panic about my sekret santa fic for hlh_shortcuts. Deadline is Dec 10th, and I might lose internet access on Dec 1st (switching providers) so I really need to finish it but it's proving to be a right mardy bugger

I've not done my hlh_shortcuts fic either!
With regards to having no net connection, the library is your friend and if you can upload the wip to a google doc before the switchover you'll be able to access in online without having to upload or download anything. I would have not survived with my sanity relatively intact without my net connection via the library last year.

Gotta love the library! Although Poole libraries are still a little parochial, so getting computer access isn't always easy, but it's definitely better than nothing!

Eddie was indeed yay! And I now have a shiny black Cake or Death mug! It's sitting on my shelf and Five has taken up residence in it *grin*

I still need about 4000 words to reach the minimum! And I have no idea what to write. I really want to write the Plan A fic because for once I've got someone I know really well, but I'm resigning myself to the possibilty I may have to abandon that idea completely. :(

You nearly made me die of fright there - 4000 words to reach minimum? Ack! Then I checked again and minimum is 500 words. Phew! I can do 500 words in a day easily if muses co-operate.

I saw 500 and assumed misprint because it was longer the previous two years, wasn't it? Oh well, at least I can breathe a sigh of relief :-)
