Some Bagpuss icons

Apr 29, 2009 16:40

So, thanks to a discussion with jinxed_wood, I've been inspired to make some icons for cult kids shows from the 70s and 80s. Feel free to snag, just comment and credit, this is the first of a series of them so please let me know what you think (especially if they're rubbish or I'll just keep making them). If anyone has any show requests, just comment here. ( First up Bagpuss )

I believe you have. Check out the credits here on YouTube. It more or less explains the brilliance of the entire show. :)

These are really cool, I was neer really a bagpuss fan but even so these are a great blast from the past. Hmm think I shall steal Professor Yaffle. I'm excited to see which series you do next.

Thanks! I'm kinda working my way through my DVDs at the moment (yes, I have the DVDs), so next will probably be The Flumps or Chorlton and the Wheelies, but I plan on doing Mr Benn, Pigeon Street, Dangermouse, Jamie and the Magic Torch, and anything else I can get my hands on!

Like I said, requests also taken, so if there's a favourite I've missed, let me know :)

Oh the nostalgia!!!

And I love the icon you used for this post too - I spent a whole summer at my grandparents' in France watching that cartoon in French every day, before coming home to realise that it also came in English *snigger*
