Well, it was half good and half bad. Christmas was spent at the ER with my grandfather, but it was nothing grave, and he is already at home feeling fantastic.

oh, so do i. 2008 wasn't very nice. marginally better than the horror of 07 though ::shudders:: how was your year in general looking back? ::hugs::

It was kind of a mixed bag. It was good in the sense that we've been healthy, I got to write every day, and I didn't have to commute to an office job. Not so good in the sense that I miss getting a regular pay cheque, and a publishing contract is still in the distance.

My oldest was nasty at the beginning of the year, but has mellowed considerably since, so that's good. And I saw my youngest enter high school *clings to baby* and finally stand up to his older brother. I also travelled and met my new year's resolutions, so all in all, it was a good one.

that's nice and very satisfying to hear! and go you for sticking to your new years resolutions. lets hope 2009 is either a good year for all, or a mixed back with more good than bag in it :)
