I don't usually comment & this is a little late but I just can't not comment.
I was sobbing throughout 3/4 of the story. T.T Partly because I am so attached to Chanyeol in any fic because his character is always so endearing & mostly because you wrote this A W E S O M E L Y.
When Yura said Chanyeol deserved better ughhhh T.T
Honestly, the plot is a little typical but you kinda make it your own or, rather, make it into the character's story instead of just a generic story about someone's who's dying & that's what makes it amazing to me. (i don't know if that makes sense)
& Even though the ending was satisfying (BUT HEARTBREAKING) I feel like asking you write more of this world/situation/story butbutbut I can't because I'm shy aaand because I understand if you can't or feel like there's no where to go in this story anymore. I'm just mentioning it in case you get even the tiniest urge to write more hehe

i totally agree, i think terminal illness is a really hard plotline to pull off bc it usually overshadows the actual story, and tbh i'm dubious about how this fic turned out, but i'm really glad it worked for you wah ;~~~~; i'm not sure at all about a sequel (not sure i wanna write chanyeol's real goodbye, instead of just leaving it as this offpage copout lol ;;), but ahh you're so kind, I'LL KEEP YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT IN MIND ok :*

i think i almost cried at this
(especially since krisyeol is one of my fav exo otps)
just watching chanyeol breaking his own freaking heart
and loving kris and trying to make a relationship work with his own best friend
when he shattered that plate the moment kyungsoo mentioned him and kris
that's when i knew, and my heart achhhheed
"I think so too. After your help." Kris says, with a smile that makes Chanyeol's fingers curl around the wine bottle. He pats Chanyeol's knee. "God, I keep cracking up. This is hilarious, I'm going to remember it forever."

Kris must have washed his hair right after the party. Chanyeol wants to push his fingers through it.

this is a little weird but you inspired me to write about what i thought 'bout them in my journal (b/c i couldn't stop thinking about this fic)... i'll just put it down here ~___~ hope you appreciate it. OTL i feel slightly embarrassed but yeah. ok.

But can you imagine, Chanyeol realizing that he loves Kris (too, too much) only to find out that if Kris does love him back, he would be a burden to him because he's going to die. And instead, he just tries to get his two best friends together (trying to ignore his heart twisting in agony especially when Kris has that little smile on when he sees Baekhyun), so that when he dies, he'll know that Kris is happy. It has never been so difficult, to hide his feelings, when he's going on psuedo dates with Kris to tell him pointers on how to treat Baekhyun. How to love someone else that is not him (will never be; he doesn't allow himself to think of the possibilities. No one suspects a thing when he smiles dumbly except for maybe his sister. There is a reason he has never seemed to treat
