[Tony Stark is sitting in front of a computer in City Solutions. He's wearing a short sleeved pull over shirt that clearly shows the arc reactor in his chest. He's got glasses on and his fingers are flying across a keyboard. He's clearly concentrating on what he is doing which appears to be filling a screen up with lines of code. After a moment he

Tony? When did you get back?

[Deep breath, you're better than this.]
You have nothing to apologize for Mr. Stark. I do have a number of your things I set aside. We had been living together. If you'd like, you may come get them at any time.

If it would be easier you can drop them off at my office. Otherwise I'll be over right away.

[There's a tapping on the device and a map is sent to Tony's comm.]
I hardly think there's anything that can make this easier. As we may be working together, it's best to meet now and get any... awkwardness out of the way.

[ooc: action? And for the lulz - I don't think that the system will recognize Tony, it's used to Extremis!Tony and someone with slightly different brain patterns. Different experiences=different patterns y/n?]

Finding the apartment with Romana's map wasn't difficult. Tony stands in front of the door now with furrowed brow.
"Tony Stark."
When he gets no response he tries again. "Anthony Edward Stark."
When that gets no response he starts fiddling with the lock trying to decide if there's another form of identification it uses. Rather then 'fix' a lock that's not his, he knocks on the door.
"Romana! Sorry but the lock doesn't think I should be here."

So focused was she on not doing just that, that the knock on the door made her cry out softly in surprise.
Quickly crossing the room, she opened the door with a slightly confused look on her face.
"That's odd... although... what's the last thing you remember, before coming here? The registration act? The, how did you call it, the Civil War?"

He clears his throat and glances around the apartment. "I don't remember either. I've never heard of them. The last thing I remember is talking to Nick Fury about why I wasn't recommended for SHIELD. I'd just killed Ivan Vanco and saved Pepper."

"Perhaps you're not my, the Tony Stark I knew." And loved.
She motions to the expansive apartment, "Please make yourself at home, may I offer you a drink?"

"You mentioned similar things, and there are similar instances back in my home. Universes similar but branched off from previous points in time."
He'd notice that the apartment is very much a place he'd feel comfortable in, with feminine touches that have been added, some plants, different lamps. But still a place that had his fingerprints all over it.

The apartment does, in many ways, look like something he'd choose to live in. He wonders if she kept the decor in hopes he'd come back or if she genuinely likes it for the most part.
"Considering we're in an entirely different world now, or we seem to be, I guess I shouldn't be that surprised."

She returns from the kitchen with the scotch for him and a glass of wine for her and passes it off, heading toward the living room to sit on the sofa.
"You'll find that there's a lot here that will be new and surprising."

She considers for the moment. "You- the you that was here before- had some experience with aliens, non-humans, and magical beings, but those here in the City were still of kinds he wasn't used to. Myself included."
