Ahh, damn. I didn't know. Please let me know how the treatments are going. My friend BA is going through an experimental chemo (cobalt blue and there is no hairloss!) that she thinks might be doing her some good. I can find out more about it if you're interested. They administer it at my cancer center.
I somehow missed the post where the diagnosis of MS was confirmed, or mostly confirmed. I am thinking of you. I hope they're able to ease your symptoms as well as fight the cause. I'm pretty ignorant about the disease, though I'll probably read more about it now.
The topic actually came up recently with my urologist, of all people. He asked me whether I'd ever had blurred vision or some other things (I hadn't), and explained that he had read cases where people with bladder dysfunction had turned out to have MS. It's apparently rare for MS to initially present that way -- "something you read about", he said -- but he thought he'd make sure I had no signs of it. With so many different ways it can start, I can see why it's hard to diagnose.
Catsup! One day, a customer at the restaurant/grocery store where I work wanted to buy hot mustard to eat with his meal. The restaurant serves authentic Chinese food (along with a few inevitable American-Chinese dishes) and thus doesn't have mustard on the tables.
I hope the treatments are successful.
This is the second anecdote about a tailically challenged rodent I've read in this journal.
