10-15 years ago, someone sabotaged several batches of talking GI Joes and talking Barbies, by switching the voice boxes, so that the GI Joes said "Math is hard!" and "Let's go shopping!" and the Barbies said "Eat lead!"

Well, I had an awesome birthday hiking with some friends and then going out for beer, but it would have been fun to be with you and Isolde and Beth!

I'm Australian and yes, I enthuse about squirrels. I also get excited about prairie dogs in AZ (much to the embarrassment of my aunties who get sick of me grabbing my camera for another picture). That's how you can spot Aussies - we're the ones getting excited about squirrels and various small furry animals.

Prairie dogs are adorable! I get excited about prairie dogs and squirrels, and I'm not even Australian. :)

What?! FAO Schwartz is no more? That's one of my must-see places when I finally make my way to NY. You and Isolde with the barbie and the squirrel are just too cute.

Yes! They had a huge display of those stuffed monster toys that you had a picture of- that ugly series in felt- last I was there. They had giant ones that cost like $600, and little ones. I was going to get one but then I think my sister got it for me but then didn't give it to me. And they had designer fashion dolls. Yup. All gone. :(
