if i wasn't laughing harder before, i would be when i read this:

And the hero was here before him, golden hair alight in the sun, crouched menacingly before the minion of his enemy and beating the snot out of him. The young hero was undoubtedly working valiantly to save his country and king and the minion had the vital information needed to thwart his nemesis’ plans, and - a princess! Yes, there was assuredly a princess, the love of the young hero’s life that needed to be saved!

then when he came into contact with kakashi. i could just visualize him; small, quick and deadly as he moved like a hot knife through butter. it was just, awesome. then naruto's anger as he was knocked around after realizing it was kakashi. oh man, the saying goes "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" but hell hasn't met a pissed of naruto after having kakashi hurt. >-< very good! i just can't wait to read more of this story.

I'm glad you like my little juxtaposition with the fairy tale princess Kakashi and real, bad-ass little ninja Kakashi. When the idea first came to me, I laughed, too.

I'm pretty sure I already flailed at you quite a bit over AIM, but I guess I might as well write a note here. :D

As I said, the way you write action scenes still kind of is mindboggling for me. I see it all so clearly, and it's exciting and intense, like watching it happen in an actual anime episode or something. *__*

And then there's the bits of humor you throw in that are just absolutely hilarious. Such as this:

“Would-wouldst you-er…thou assis’ the-the mos' unfairly impugned-” Toji stuttered, doing his best to convey his most humble plea for the hero’s aid, but the shinobi’s brows merely bunched in confusion.

“What?”

“You-Dost aid thou in a ques’, to assis' me broth-er, brethren, to rescue yer-thy fine lass-er, princess-”

“Princess?!” The blond’s eyes went round with shock. Now even Toji’s brothers watched avidly at the outburst.

“Er, Lady?”

LSKJF:LSJDF:LSDJF:LSDJF. Oh god, I laughed so hard at that part! That sudden bit of Shakespearean English was so unexpected but so incredibly hilarious. xD; I also love how you shift
