what ceremony are they missing? some general thing (a background for the story?) or a nameable event? Just wondering.
By the way, love this.
Jazz's opinion is kind of melancholy, but true. i like how in the end, Prowl agrees with him. Nice twist there.

Thanks. I'm glad you like it.
Its not a notable event, just something the Senate and Council cooked up to 'honor the heroes of the War.' Mostly it was to form a frame for this.

This is nicely done. I like how you left it open for the reader to decide what had happened previous etc. Quite melancholy but I like how you had Prowl stay with him in the end.

Short but very intense. Jazz is right on so many levels, and Prowl is too logical to ignore that!
