It seems that there won't be a Mozart-da Ponte trilogy next February after all.
First hinted at some months ago, it kept me on tenterhooks as I anticipated the sale of the tickets and then consequently realising my ambition of securing front row seats in the stalls.
Tickets were to be released in October, but on its last legs, there's no sight of them, not even the merest snatch of news or update. So it was that I postulated my concern at the box office, only for the bomb to drop.
"80% it's not going to happen..."
To add insult to injury and to rub salt into the wound, she also shared that there had been a lot of interest and enquiries on the operas, but for whatever reason she wasn't privy to or didn't reveal, the Deutsche Oper am Rheim may not be coming.
I'm grasping at straws here, but all I'm asking for is 100% of the 20% materialise...
