Do you think someone could ever beat the devil at his own game? For instance, say that he owns your soul, but you manage to trick him out of owning it?

...As you can tell, I'm bored out of my mind and have too much time on my hands to think of stupid questions. The next question will probably be: Who passes more gas? Women or Men.

secretly a srs question, i want my soul back, satan

For your first question, there is an old song you may wish to listen too.

If you get the chance, look up "The Devil Went Down To Georgia".

Why couldn’t you? It’s worth a try if someone that powerful has your soul, I suppose.

But I mean, isn't the devil all powerful or something? Maybe he'd know you would try to trick him before even even tried.

You would have to be very clever then, wouldn’t you?

/ as he hoped. XD idkmybffsatan June 29 2009, 22:05:14 UTC
But who can be more clever than the devil? I mean, you'd have to be a fucking genius.

Which would make it a strange one to be asking.

Do you have be so creepy? Sure it's a strange question, but it's not like Devil really exists.

I'm not touching the second question.

As for the first, that readily depends on how anyone sold their soul to the Devil. That aside, there's still the core belief that once you sell your soul to the Devil, you're damned, regardless if you make a pact. Likely the best way is finding redemption, maybe. Or knowing what kind of game the Devil plays.

But what if you weren't the one that sold your soul in the first place?

I'm still trying to figure that one out. Not entirely sure. I don't like the idea of someone can be sacrificed or sold to the Devil and still be damned.

I guess it'd never happen though. I mean, you can't really sell or trade anything that's not yours. And I don't think you can take a loan out on a soul.

The devil himself? Really?

Hypothetically.
