[The PCD turns on and reveals a very angry looking red head, hair all over the place as he looks around and tries to figure out where he is

[Is that. Is it really Luke? His hair is long! But... Well he has been told of the temporal anomalies here. It's a little worrying, considering everything... But he's still really happy to see his friend!]
[Going to positively beam in happiness at Luke before sitting carefully down. Needs to catch his breath and all. Also, where does he start?]
This place is called Adstringendum. I think the world was like Auldrant once but... Something went wrong. Science was pushed too far, and it became unstable. Now it takes people from other worlds and times--sort of like an incomplete hyperresonance that's constantly fluctuating. That's why the monsters are from various places as well. As far as any one knows, this city is the only safe zone left on the planet.
[He deflates as he speaks. Hopeful as the place has made him, the idea of Luke being stuck here...]
There's no way home except to wait and hope you get sent back.
On Auldrant, yes. But it seems like they managed something like that here, without the presence of seventh fonons. As far as I can sense, fonons here aren't native. [They were probably brought in the same way as everything else--but there's enough ambient fonons that he and Luke should be fine, and even be able to use artes.]
Ah... That's another thing Luke. Time is different. I'm actually in the future, in regards to you. The Peace Treaty becomes reality, thanks to your hard work. [Smiling happily.]
I'm told while we're here time stops back home, so please don't worry too much.
There are sometimes events that do strange things. When I arrived I couldn't use any artes, but it's back to normal now. There are also the Animus, but no one seems to know much for sure about them.
Oh, Alphonse said I could bring you home with me, but it's important we not tell anyone where his house is, in case enemies from his world appear.
As it is. The world probably existed before, but I doubt in the state it is now. Theoretically it was altered completely by some imbalance. But I know of no native to this place to ask for confirmation.
Luke! You're really here!
[Ion, captain obvious.]

W-what? But we have to get back! I've got to get home and we have to get that letter to my uncle before a war starts!

[DSLFKJ:S GAH AND HE SPENT SO LONG TRYING TO FIGURE THEM OUT.]
The future? And the treaty happens?
[You get a relieved smile there! Thankfully he doesn't know about the whole "lol you're gonna be used as a weapon" thing yet so...no war is good!]
[But then Ion mentions how time stops in their world and...the gears are working overtime in his brain.]
Time...freezes?
[Time for extreme ruffling of his hair in frustration.]
GAH, why doesn't anything in this stupid place make any sense?

[He's totally patient with Luke. Besides this place would confuse anyone.]
I'm sorry I don't really understand the science. I'm not sure how it works, only that it apparently does.

At least I'm not the only one whose confused about this place.
Is there anything else that I should know about the city?

[Those events just sound weird, so he's gonna focus on what the hell the Animus are first.]
Whatever, that's fine. I won't tell anyone.
