♥!! I simply love how all this cute- & dorkiness does not interfere with Barney's character at all. (Don't care what others might say about how a mellow womanizer like him cannot be "cute" - that's totally not true.)

Barney has been cute since Season 1 episode 1! It's how he gets away with being a womanizer. I'm finding it hard to think of many episodes where he hasn't done a cute face, at least.

And I'll give you the evidence of my continuing picspam to show he's ALWAYS been like that.

I know, I know! You don't have to prove me anything, I've always said it was totally "in character" and has always been prominent. (I mean, hello? He loves babys.) But I did have some fierce discussion on this subject with friends and some sure don't see it.
