Michael Fassbender rewatch #17: William & Mary, Hearts & Bones

Aug 31, 2011 17:43

I've been so busy lately, but I've somehow managed to find the time to watch two TV shows that both (a) have Michael Fassbender in them and (b) have an "&" in them! What are the chances?
Lots of screenshots made by me... )

You saw My Chemical Romance and MADNESS live? Oh, I am so jealous right now.

Aww, Fassy looks super duper adorable in Hearts & Bones, I'll try to watch it when I get some time.

Wasn't badass!Rory super kick-ass in Doctor Who? The Hitler in the cupboard thing was beyond awesome.

Madness were actually really funny, because I swear that everybody under 40 had NO idea what was going on. But all us oldies were having a wail of a time. Actually, the whole event had a two-tone vibe!

And I'll say this for Gerard Way - he's a very confident frontman. And has a nice arse.

You MUST watch Hearts and Bones, seriously. Fassy is OMG unbelievably FUNNY in it, which is such a change for him!

Oh, I LOVE Rory. I love him even MORE that we got to see him as a little kid. I just want to hug him to death FOREVER.

Err, I am 21 and I am a HUGE fan of Madness. Got all the CDs, the DVD of their last album and I can sing half of their songs by heart. Is there something wrong with me? I guess I have to blame my mum.

Amy and Rory as kids were so adorable! He's for sure my favourite character in the Moffat Who. *hugs him*

Ah, you see, I knew there would have to be a Mum in there. :-)

And yes, Rory as a little boy is the most adorable thing to exist. What I love about it is that they got the same actors for Little Amy etc.

True story: I was JUST thinking that I hadn't read anything from you in a while!! Good to see you're still alive and have been enjoying yourself, despite all the rain (but there was MCR, says the 14-year-old goth somewhere inside me!).

And TORCHWOOOOOOOOOOD. God, is it just me who is unabashedly in love with Miracle Day? I just... I love it. Other than the super boring episode where everyone was like "They're BURNING PEOPLE OMG" for 40 minutes, it's just been so crazy and intense and I'm seriously loving all of it even if Esther is kind of annoying. But JACK. And GWEN. I ACTUALLY LIKE GWEN NOW WHAT IS HAPPENING. I just wish Ianto was still there because every time Jack mentions him I get sad inside. :(

Where are you going on holiday? I hope you have a fantastic time! I'm off to Spain in three days!!!!!!

Three days? Excuse my French but FUCK! Has that even sunk in yet?

Yes, I love Miracle Day too! I love the whole Angelo story. But did you know that in the UK they are cutting it a lot. Half the gay sex was cut. I'm watching the US version on download.

I did love the mention of Ianto too. Oh Jack! Sniffle.

I'm off to Saint Croix again. I mean, Cyprus. ;-)

Hah. It has not sunk in at ALL. I'm too busy worrying about having my luggage make the weight limit to even think that I'm actually going. That's probably pretty weird, but there it is.

Oh my god, I loved the Angelo storyline. A LOT. Except for the whole part where he got his neighborhood to bleed Jack dry multiple times. That really sucked. :( I'm kind of sad that I might not be able to watch the next episode until god-knows-when because this whole international business flight thing is really messing with my usual pirating schedule.

DAMN YOU SAINT CROIX. (I was rereading that part of the RP recently. Tears!) But have fun in Cyprus!!!

Tell me about it! Cyprus is messing with my pirating schedule too as my hubby's parents have moved to a place with NO INTERNETS! How will I cope? Cry!

I hope you have more luck than me!

(I liked the Jack torture bit. But you know I like The Dark Stuff!)

I've been feeling disenchanted with True Blood lately.

Really? I'm a complete sucker for woobie-Eric. I'm sorry, but there it is.

If I was watching 57 minutes of woobie-Eric, I'd be great. But that's not the way it is.

How about if it was 30 minutes of Eric's abs and 27 mins of Elcide's abs?

Well exactly. So long as I don't have to sit through THAT movie again. Jeez.

YOU NEED TO WATCH HEARTS AND BONES OMG! Seriously, you will squee yourself to death, Fassy's so FUNNY.

Except the bit with the dead bodies in straight jackets. I swear, that will keep me in nightmares for months.

Wow, I don't know if my reaction to that is "LOL" or "WTF?"... :D
The show's coming here too, so I guess I'll wait and see.

Enjoy your vacation! :)

Yeah, it's the creepiest bit of the show. Mainly it's very colourful and light, more like the 70s live action Children's Batman than Tim Burton's Batman. But there is a very slight dark edge.

Definitely go and see it. It's fun!
